Below is a listing of all CODA-accredited dental and dental-related education programs. Filter your choice by selecting one of the Programs on the left: Predoctoral (DDS/DMD) Dental Education Programs or Allied Dental Education Programs or Advanced Dental Education Programs. After you select a Program, you may also select one or more specific Program Type(s) that interest you. Once those selections are made, the results will display (in order by state). You may select a specific state and or a specific city to find a program. The program information displayed includes the website (as available) and mailing address, on-site evaluation years and current accreditation status. Questions related to the admissions criteria and application process should be directed to the educational program.

Canadian Programs

By reciprocal agreement, programs that are accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada are recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. However, individuals attending dental programs in one country and planning to practice in another country should carefully investigate the requirements of the licensing jurisdiction where they wish to practice. By reciprocal agreement, predoctoral dental education, level II dental assisting, dental hygiene, and advanced dental education programs in dental public health, endodontics, oral and maxillofacial pathology, oral and maxillofacial radiology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, and prosthodontics that are accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation Canada are recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. CODA-Accredited International Predoctoral (DDS/DMD) Dental Education Programs

The Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) offers accreditation services to established international predoctoral dental education programs.

In accordance with Commission policy, students who are enrolled in the program at the time accreditation is granted, and who successfully complete the program, will be considered graduates of an accredited program. Students who graduated from the program prior to the granting of accreditation will not be considered graduates of an accredited program.

King Abdulaziz University, Saudia Arabia
The Commission on Dental Accreditation granted accreditation to King Abdulaziz University’s dental education program on August 1, 2019. Students who were enrolled in the program at the time accreditation was granted [King Abdulaziz University: August 1, 2019], and who successfully complete the program, will be considered graduates of an accredited program. Students who graduated from the program prior to the granting of accreditation [prior to August 1, 2019] will not be considered graduates of an accredited program.

Yeditepe University, Turkey
The Commission on Dental Accreditation granted accreditation to Yeditepe University’s dental education program on February 1, 2024. Students who were enrolled in the program at the time accreditation was granted [Yeditepe University: February 1, 2024], and who successfully complete the program, will be considered graduates of a CODA-accredited program. Students who graduated from the program prior to the granting of accreditation [prior to February 1, 2024] will not be considered graduates of a CODA-accredited program.
